Everything That Happens Is a Miraculous Destiny
As I watch my peers around my age enjoy the ease of retirement, I reflect on my still-active, purpose-driven life with deep gratitude. I’m thankful for the unique path that life has paved for me.
Though the choices were mine, I can feel a wondrous and gentle guidance leading me forward.
This is not merely the script of my life—it is the destined narrative that each person uniquely carries.
Within destiny lies choice; and once a choice is made, a new path unfolds.
Looking back on every key turning point in my life, I sincerely give thanks for this meticulously designed journey.
Adversity holds the seed of motivation; the lowest valleys contain the potential for transformation.
Now, holding a senior citizen card, I smile at the sacred calling life has bestowed upon me.
I have no time to idle in retirement, because I’ve been entrusted with a greater mission.
My childhood laid the foundation of core values for my life—truths that only became clear through the guidance of the body.
These once-mistaken beliefs remain deeply rooted in society today. But through time and effort, they can and must be renewed.
If no one steps forward, future generations may struggle to thrive in the light.
The environment in which I was raised instilled in me a deep belief: that medicine is noble, and that the work of doctors is sacred and beyond question.
My father and uncle were both graduates of Taiwan’s most prestigious medical institution.
In our era, medicine was the most respected and sought-after profession.
When friends and relatives describe me as “rebellious” or “non-conforming,” I can only respond with inner clarity: I am not rebellious—I am fortunate.
Because I have seen how desperately the world needs a new window into the evolution of the human body.
If you still feel compelled to defend the medical system, I invite you to pause.
A world you barely know—but one that will one day welcome you—is slowly unfolding.
To enter the age of “doing as one pleases,” to me, is not to act willfully, but to shoulder a deeper privilege of responsibility.
While others may enjoy their freedom, I choose to bear a greater duty.
The road ahead need not be hard—but it must be walked with heart.
I am deeply moved by this miraculous destiny—it is both my source of growth and my wellspring of inspiration.
I love recording insights, and I love reading the works of others.
This passion is not innate; it is a habit nurtured through the path of teaching health and wellness.
I once wrote that transitioning from a life of wealth to one of modest means was a vital backdrop for gaining life’s wisdom.
It was my upbringing that taught me generosity, even though I never truly learned financial management.
Life’s hardships have taught me not only how to carry burdens, but how to let go of worldly values.
The rights and wrongs of the human world still create knots between siblings.
This lesson of life comes with depth—and difficulty.
But precisely because of this, I’ve come to understand: to break free from familial burdens, one must learn to withstand without fear.
And if you cannot forgive, so what?
The black-or-white thinking of right versus wrong no longer applies to the orbit of my life.
Your “true-or-false” questions, I have long since transformed into “multiple-choice” ones.
I have been lost. I have wandered.
Without those moments of disheartenment, how would I ever know the depth of life’s joy?
How the world views me—writer, coach, speaker—are merely chapters.
The role I most yearn to play is one I have yet to truly step into: a philanthropist.
I asked the heavens if I could become a philanthropist, and the answer was a resounding yes.
It was Your Life, Your Legacy by Roger James Hamilton that inspired me.
He wrote: “Wealth is what you have when you lose all your money.”
At this moment, my heart overflows with the desire to make the world ahead more beautiful.
The insights I receive from the wisdom of the body, and the bonds I’ve formed through my work, are now responsibilities I honor.
Everything that happens is a miraculous destiny.
In this mindful present, I give thanks for every choice, every decision I’ve made.
Adversity is prosperity. Loss is gain.
Every passerby has been a benefactor. Every kindred spirit, an angel.
On this journey of life, I feel fulfilled. Such rare and meaningful encounters affirm it.
Together, we—the Selfasteam community—have made a promise:
To keep going, to keep connecting, to keep being moved.
To dance with the body, and to let life flourish in harmony.
