The Unseen “Knowing” and “Way”
Not every traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) practitioner truly masters the art of pulse diagnosis. Compared to TCM’s perceptual approach of observation, listening, inquiry, and palpation, modern Western medicine relies almost entirely on test results to assess conditions. In the eyes of many, this dependence on data is seen as a form of “scientific profundity.”
The saying “no tears until you see the coffin” reflects human inertia. Many persist in unhealthy behaviors while hypnotizing themselves into believing they’ll be the lucky exceptions—unaware that the laws of conservation and matter retention are already quietly recording the consequences within their bodies.
Of course, some become alert to health risks early on due to family medical history. Even before symptoms arise, they take preventive action—this too is a form of blessing.
Western medicine’s logic is founded on empirical validation and reasoning. Its scientific framework fosters a “seeing is believing” mindset: chemistry relies on numbers, physics on reactions—everything demands measurable indicators.
I grew up in an environment immersed in Western medicine. Whether through academic coursework or family background, I was constantly reinforced with the authority and greatness of Western medicine. Yet what truly led me to question it all was a profound experience with fasting.
From my forties to fifties, I was at my unhealthiest. I took for granted the exhausted and bloated reflection in the mirror—until I realized that was the period I had come closest to death in my life.
Awakening is a beautiful thing; its opposite is not ignorance but numbness. Growth brings the joy of life; its opposite is degeneration. I once vacillated between these two states.
Those who work in drug rehabilitation can instantly identify someone who uses narcotics—their expression and demeanor are etched in memory. That is not the face of a “normal” person.
To me, the true essence of wellness is not merely about giving the body a break from food, but cultivating a joyful and relaxed attitude toward life. Emotional stability is the ultimate destination of health.
Through my own experiences and long-term observation, I’ve come to understand food in new ways. It’s not that certain things must never be eaten, but they should be minimized—especially refined starches that offer calories but almost no nutrition.
I can often detect a person’s dependence on refined starches through their appearance—it reflects an underlying “special need.” The only way to break this cycle is through deep internal awareness and self-motivated change.
I simplify food into two categories: cooked and raw. This is not about picky eating, but about aligning with the body’s natural rhythms and creating appropriate separations.
Many people struggle to grasp this idea, but just look at the faces of those who rely heavily on cooked foods, and you’ll see traces of toxin buildup in the body.
“Dialoguing with the body” is a natural realization that comes after fasting. Those who haven’t experienced it often ask, “How do you talk to the body? How does the body speak?” That’s when understanding must elevate from “knowing” to “realizing.”
Realization is an intuition that surfaces through bodily signals—it doesn’t have to be perfectly accurate, but it offers a clear sense of direction. Like a compass, it points the way without words.
To a mind long dominated by logic and thought, this feels like a foreign language—like playing the lute to a cow, where frequencies simply don’t match.
After awakening to the way of the body, I felt out of sync with the world for a long time. My work began aligning with “resonant frequencies.”
Few have walked this path before, which makes every step full of surprise—because realization never ends, and progress knows no limit.
When I say “dialoguing with the body” ultimately leads to “dialoguing with the self,” more people will come to understand. This is an act of human responsibility. We not only meet those who resonate with us, but also rise into high-altitude paths of purpose.
“Your body is capable of everything”—this is the realization I’ve gradually received. It is not only a surrender to the body, but a tribute to creation and evolution.
When you begin to believe your body is capable of everything, the next step is not demanding proof, but considering how to systematically unleash its potential.
We must walk alongside the body, not merely observe or question it.
There were once two influencers who argued online over “liver and gallbladder cleansing.” This reflects a common phenomenon—true realizations being invalidated by analytical minds. On the internet, real wisdom struggles to spread because people often cloak arrogance and selfishness in critical thinking.
When your body expels shocking toxins, it doesn’t need to name every compound or source. On another level, you already know the truth.
Let’s conclude with the “language of the eyes”: when a wife asks her cheating husband to tell the truth, his eyes have already betrayed his dishonesty. She demands that he look directly into hers and answer.
Because eyes don’t lie—they speak the soul’s language. Even if “deny until death” is an unspoken rule among men, a woman’s wisdom sees through it. Her verdict reads: “She already knew.”
The world of fasting begins with a heartfelt motive and leads to a bodily response. Along the way, it is filled with feelings and awakenings.
This is no myth crafted by words—it is a lived account from those who’ve experienced it.
The way of the body needs no elaborate explanation. Those who understand will simply understand. Those who don’t cannot be forced.
Those willing to delve deeper will uncover more. Those full of excuses will always be out of sync—their eyes never matching the frequency.
Some truths don’t need to be seen—you just know.
But to anchor that “knowing,” it must be verified repeatedly. Ideally, behind the “knowing” lies a “way.”
For once you have the Way—you will truly see.
