Famous Doctors and Wise Doctors
Is it useful to remind family members to take fewer pills? Most of the time, no. They will only find you nagging, dismissing your words as nothing more than “old clichés.”
Why do people who take medicine never listen to reminders of “don’t take medicine”? Because they believe medicine is their only reliance, that it will restore to them a healthy body.
They do not care about warnings that “medicine is poison.” They ignore the cautions of side effects. They refuse to face the possibility of complications, or even the emergence of more illnesses.
Why? Because in their minds, as long as they can pass this immediate hurdle, what lies ahead is irrelevant. Thinking about the future is meaningless—this present threshold is the only gate between life and death.
This becomes a kind of consensus, an unspoken agreement between patient and doctor.
How does an illness become “incurable”? Because problems are delayed again and again, because the root cause is never addressed. Long-term reliance on medication inevitably leads to the point where “all physicians are helpless.”
Medicine was never the cause of disease, yet it is treated as the solution. Even when conditions improve, it was never medicine that deserved the credit.
If you consider yourself a thoughtful person, yet still carry around a handful of pills, then your thoughts are already full of contradictions.
The human body contains mysteries science can never exhaust. Not only the human body—every form of life is endowed by creation with the powers of nature, able to create miracles within life itself.
They are called “miracles” only because civilization has been blinded by pharmaceutical culture for too long. Those who depend on drugs to relieve suffering have drifted too far from their bodies, unable to understand the innate healing power within.
When a severe illness heals without medical intervention, most people call it a miracle. Only those who understand the body’s self-healing know: it is merely the result of returning to nature.
Medicine often mistakes effects for causes, leading to a complete reversal of order. As long as one is trapped in this frame of thinking, one can only go further astray.
Thus, “famous doctors” arise—renowned, celebrated, drawing crowds in swarms. The famous doctor has “miracle pills,” the famous doctor seems like a fortune teller. Appointments impossible to book, waiting rooms packed to the brim—this is a portrait of society, and a sign of humanity’s regression.
Nature long ago handed us the blueprint of health, yet we leave it at home and insist on showing up to the exam clutching only a blank sheet of paper. No matter how we answer, we will never pass.
The “famous doctor” becomes an ecosystem, prescribing medicine becomes the norm; sickness becomes an ecosystem, swallowing pills becomes the routine.
Drugs were meant as tools for extraordinary situations, yet now they are overused in all situations. Surgery was meant as the final emergency measure, yet now it has become a preventive “standard procedure.”
There is a truth rarely grasped: the tangled, unpredictable ways that drugs act within a person, and how this entanglement has driven humanity into a pit of fear and ignorance.
So, how can people come to realize that medicine is ultimately futile? Only by reconciling with their bodies early, before illness becomes irreversible. This is why fasting must be embraced by the world.
Fasting is the only way to converse with the body. Not eating is the key attitude that unlocks the body’s hidden potential.
The goal of fasting is not sacrifice, but return—a re-integration of balance by nature within the body.
Because the body itself is the wise doctor.
The body is the physician that perceives truth, the physician that discerns the laws of nature.
The body is the true home of health. How long have we been away from home? How far have we wandered?
The body is the true home of happiness. How long have we been lost? How far have we strayed?
The road home has become so long because too many are lost—because even those meant to guide us have lost their way—because all the lost wanderers panic until they no longer know what to do.
Do you realize that home is the true ground of health and happiness?
Are you willing to return home? Do you still remember the way?
Place your hand gently upon your chest, and listen to that inner voice:
“Come home, my child.”
