What does a car crashing into a crowd have to do with pharmaceutical thinking?
Seemingly nothing—yet intrinsically linked. Just like a child hitting another at school while the parents defend them, never realizing they themselves are the root of the problem.

I often take the bus and pay close attention to the drivers. I notice their fatigue, the solemn expressions, the frequent abrupt braking—it’s become routine.
When I cross the street after getting off, I’m always cautious of the bus lane. Any one of those drivers could slip up in an instant.

Tragic outcomes deserve prevention. But more importantly, we must question the origin of the mistake.
In an era where chemotherapy dominates cancer treatment, almost no one dares to face the emotional roots behind the disease. Instead, we blindly accept treatments devoid of true meaning.

And in the end, we are still left to face the result—the worst result.
Why does it always feel too late, too delayed?
Because, ultimately, no one wants to know the truth anymore.

I have personally experienced the body’s orderly mechanism for expelling toxins. When you show respect to the body, it responds with the utmost sincerity—it prioritizes the removal of substances that threaten life. I often refer to survival tales from extreme-cold environments: the instinct to “sacrifice limbs to protect vital organs” reflects a clear value hierarchy—one rooted in primal biological wisdom that deserves our reverence.

The first time I encountered the word discipline was in high school. Just hearing the word gave me a sense of uprightness and respect. If discipline is a core value of the body, then true wellness must follow the body’s intrinsic priorities. I’ve come to realize that those who have never practiced deep fasting cannot truly comprehend the body’s discipline.

In the structure of fasting, discipline is an indispensable axis. On the ultimate path of health, the traces of fasting are always present. Discipline serves as a bridge between fasting and wellness, and it is one of the most meaningful dialogues I’ve had with my own body.

What is the body thinking?

It is saying: “Let me cleanse these deeply buried toxins once and for all!”

It is pleading with the brain: “Can you stop eating for a while? Give me time and space to do some real cleaning.”

The body operates by its own laws—and those laws are its way of thinking. What it seeks is balance, and the first step toward balance is eliminating what doesn’t belong.

“Decluttering” is the body’s core philosophy. That sense of lightness after tidying up, the relief after a bowel movement—these are the body’s ways of applauding the brain.

What the body longs for is to return the experience of life to the sensory realm of the body itself.

“Doing what must be done” is the body’s built-in behavioral principle. In daily life, the body constantly sends reminders: there is waste to be cleared. Discomfort is simply its urgent request to restore comfort.

It’s only after loss that we realize what we didn’t cherish.
It’s only after destruction that we realize we never truly understood what cherishing meant.

Looking back, I see my stubbornness. I see my pride.
It was that one act of cherishing I failed to perform—that one gesture I didn’t return—that left me unable to match her love with equal devotion.

Now that I understand, I feel both humbled and afraid: how will I carry this realization into the future?
Because action matters more than words. Practice holds more value than knowledge.

Cherishing is not a noun—it can only be a verb.
To cherish is to begin with a single act—to begin by examining every place in our lives where we’ve taken things for granted.

There’s no need to dive deep into the biochemical mechanisms of the drugs.
Just compare modern sleep research with our medication behaviors, and you’ll see the terrifying truth:
All of the body’s natural nighttime repair systems are suspended under the influence of these medications.
In other words, “You thought you slept—but nothing was accomplished.”
No memory consolidation, no emotional release, no toxin elimination. The body floats above the surface of the sea, never truly diving into the vibrant, life-giving world beneath.

Sleep is the body’s lowest energy state.
And yet, evolution specifically designed this “paralysis window” so that we can wake up with renewed physical and cognitive power.
Much like animals rely on hibernation, human sleep is a remarkable evolutionary triumph.

The tragedy is this: humanity has collectively and stubbornly rejected this evolutionary wisdom.
And this is only the tip of the iceberg of our disregard for nature’s laws.
As accomplices who once scoffed at the importance of sleep—some even proudly sacrificing it—we still struggle to link our neglect of sleep with the rise of disease.

If one wishes to reverse diabetes, the only lifestyle solution is fasting.
Similarly, to fundamentally reverse gynecological syndromes, one must also step into the everyday practice of a “fasting lifestyle.”

At first glance, diabetes and gynecological disorders appear unrelated. Yet in the trajectory of daily habits, they overlap significantly: one involves normalized overconsumption; the other, a lack of awareness of bodily changes.
Most people believe in the logic offered by the medical system, even as they also accept its illogical contradictions. When you pierce through the unspoken barriers of conventional medicine, you’ll discover the true gateway to reversal.

The medical system reinforces its authority through “worsening predictions”—a form of collective self-hypnosis born out of an environment saturated with suffering and pleas for help.

“Are you the ultimate product of evolution?”
This is a question I often ask—not only of myself, but also of those who converse with me or attend my lectures.
We are enjoying the abundant fruits of our brain’s evolution, yet remain indifferent to the evolution of the body itself.

My realization is this: the civilizations of food and medicine have jointly sabotaged the wisdom and legacy of bodily evolution.
Today, fasting has become almost the only path that allows the body to return to its evolutionary track.
Those who practice fasting with intention will eventually awaken; those who respect their evolutionarily designed body will naturally embrace the way of fasting.

When it comes to wellness, we’re surrounded by experts, doctors, supplements, and treatment packages. Yet few remind us to “listen to our bodies.”

We’ve become too used to looking outward for solutions: fast results, miracle cures, authoritative voices, definitive answers.
But true health doesn’t come from what others say—it comes from whether we’re willing to turn inward, and reconnect with our own body’s wisdom.

There’s nothing wrong with good products or professional advice—we do need them.
But the essence of wellness does not lie in external tools; it lies in inner awareness and consistent practice.

Looking outward too much leads us away from our center.

In my memory, there are many examples of those who lead by example—not only speaking, but living what they speak.
Yet in this world, people who speak beautifully but refuse to act are all too common.
Between “doing what you say and saying what you do” and “empty words with no follow-through” lies another boundary between two kinds of worlds.

The path of the body is set within the human being. Only those who step into it have truly begun the wellness journey.
Those who truly grasp and verify this path are few and far between. And this is precisely the inescapable responsibility of Selfasteam.

We have been given a human form, yet we do not understand the path of the body.
We live in an age of high civilization, yet do not know how to make use of the body’s inherent wisdom.
This is the most ironic sorrow of our time.

In the end, the boundary between the two worlds is the world of today and the world of the future.
If we do not act for our bodies now, the health of future generations will be in peril.

As human civilization progresses alongside ideas like the “end of Dharma age,” we are forced to reflect: why has our advancement in culinary culture and medical technology bred the rise of obesity, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and cancer?
Amid such civilizational confusion, how can we ensure we remain among the fortunate few?
Even if “all-you-can-eat” doesn’t represent the entire food culture, it unmistakably reveals our excessive worship of food—and our ignorance and neglect of the body.

By observing the prevalence of hyperinsulinemia, we can trace the trajectory of dietary civilization—from structured three-meal days with refined staples to today’s flat-fee, unlimited consumption.
How did insulin begin flooding our bloodstream? The “all-you-can-eat” format merely accelerates the process. The real problem lies in our overattachment and superstition around “meal timing.”
Eating without hunger burdens the body. Eating without restraint poisons the body. Consuming large amounts in a short span deeply wears down our internal organs.

“Being sick” and “being well” are not merely physical states, but directions of consciousness: one passive and negative, the other active and positive.
Those who trust their bodies move toward strengthening their immune systems.
Those who distrust their bodies continually create environments that suppress it.

This distrust in the body has become a collective habit.
Our world lacks education that nurtures self-trust. It lacks a culture that passes down faith in our own bodies. Society teaches us to trust the authorities who define disease, rather than ourselves.

And beneath that distrust lies an even deeper void: humanity’s mistaken definition of existence itself.
We live in a world that does not teach people how to love themselves—a society void of such examples.

Life is time. Without health, there is no time.
When we lose our sense of composure, we lose the truly precious moments of life.
Reserve time for composure—it gives us a chance to quietly savor every moment.
Once you learn composure, your sleep improves, and health naturally returns.
Skip one meal, and you gain an extra hour of clarity. Skip two, and you might gain three hours of composure.
The philosophy behind health is often something we choose to ignore.
But in truth, returning to yourself is also a journey back to composure.

To live for yourself means to live a life authored by your own values.
It means to draw a clear and dignified blueprint for your future self.
Past memories are not forbidden, but they are no longer relevant to who you are now.
Future visions must be more than fantasy—they must be deeply connected to your present actions.

We can re-understand the essence of health by looking at something as simple as taking out the trash.
It is not only about eliminating physical toxins, but also cleansing the residue of emotional and psychological debris.
Only through this can we leave behind the true self, and live fully in the now-self.

Life is a series of constant choices.
You should never sacrifice your health for money—
yet in reality, most people would rather do exactly that, and would rather live as someone they’re not.

When a person cultivates being themselves to a certain depth, life will inevitably present them with a profound test: forgiveness.

When you are ready to let go of resentment and grievances, this test appears—
It does not force you to explain, nor demand an essay;
It simply asks: Are you willing? Are you able? Do you truly desire it?
